Client: Sunday Herald (Newsquest)
Brief: To create a TV and press campaign for the Sunday Herald’s relaunch, which saw the title change from a traditional Sunday paper format to a unique ‘news magazine’ (spine-bound with all content in one paper).
End Result: Despite a tight turnaround, we managed to pitch several ideas, film and edit the commercial and design and art direct the press ads – all in under seven days. Working under our industrious creative director, I was part of the conceptualisation process and responsible for art directing the press campaign. I also assisted with art direction on set – including the throwing of vast quantities of shredded newspaper!
