Wedding Invitations

I designed the invitations in the style of traditional letterpress style, with the choice of grey and black on the reverse providing a modern twist. Each symbol had a personal meaning and the squares housing them represented the logo of the Glasgow micro brewery WEST, our reception venue.

Using letterpress printers Blush, I opted for Colorplan duplex 540gsm with rounded corners for the invitations. The matching ivory envelopes were lined with the same grey as the invitations. Finally, the covers for the Order of Services and menus (not pictured) were blind embossed with the wedding insignia on Somerset cotton 300gsm card.

For travel directions, dietary requirements etc, I used the same design but printed on Moo cards. Business card in size, I bound these with hand-cut paper strips held together with Moo stickers customized with the wedding insignia. For the directions I used altered screen shots from Google maps.
