On the Milk

Brief: To create a light-hearted and nostalgic look for the memoirs of a former Dundee milk delivery boy. It was to evoke memories of the area and the time (1960s) as well as the relative youth of the writer.
End Result: By using the colours of one of the city’s most popular football teams coupled with a bold graphic font reminiscent of literature of the era, I was able to give a feeling of the time and place. Lastly, the defaced look, with handwritten delivery routes and prices on the cover, pointed towards the adolescence of the main character.
