Brief: As this was the first novel from Glasgow-based crime writer
G J Moffat, I was tasked with providing a look that could become a ‘signature style’ for further books. Glasgow’s Pinnacle Building was central to the story, as was the feeling of separation.
End Result: I created the look using a mixture of my own photography, distressed textures and ‘grunge’ typography. The novel (and artwork) has since gone on to be licensed in countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australasia.
